Episode 6: Jenniva

The Finding Avalon is well underway with Episode 6 marking a fully East Coast vibe with a sweet cultural connection between Jenna and Jenniva’s island heritage (Newfoundland and Jamaica, with very longstanding links of cultural and trading friendship between the islands).

Jenniva brings her wisdom, calm and sincere confidence as she talks about embracing her autism and ADHD  along her journey of authenticity, as well as what she sees as an undeniable link between spirituality and neurodivergence.

With 100K+ followers on TikTok, Jenniva’s built a safe space for neurodivergent people to explore, unmask, understand and reach for support in a community that includes and celebrates them.

“I’m trying to create a space where people feel safe enough to unmask and explore who they really are. I know firsthand how exhausting it is to live under the layers of societal conditioning and programming and constantly feeling like you need to shrink yourself just to be palatable.

You were never broken – it’s the system. The problem is the systems that made you feel like you had to hide. So the more we unlearn shame and let go of who we thought we had to be, the closer we get to who we we’ve always been underneath it all.

That’s really what I try to advocate in just allowing people to feel seen, because I definitely understand.”
