Episode 10: Roxy Velez & Adonis

From their cozy home in Berlin, Adonis and his international family—his Ecuadorian cat mom Roxy, German cat dad David, and Spanish sister Anabelita—create heartwarming content that transcends borders and languages. Together, they showcase the intelligence, charm, and emotional depth of cats, inspiring empathy and connection worldwide.

Adonis’ family is committed to keeping all the feline diabetes knowledge they’ve gained since his diagnosis 100% free through the content they create. Managing this condition is challenging, not to mention expensive, so Roxy and family want to make it easier for others to navigate while caring for beloved diabetic cats.

By sharing Adonis’ journey, the goal is to raise feline disabetes awareness, provide hope, and inspire empathy in everyone who follows along.

“Cats are extremely resilient. I see it all the time. Feline diabetes is completely manageable. Home testing is a non-negotiable. Testing only at the vet is not a good idea. It is a commitment but it definitely doable. I think having someone to help you is very nice. It is a lot of work, so I really applaud people who are doing this alone, because I do this with David. I stay up late watching Adonis’ glucose and David gets up at 6 a.m. and does his insulin.”
