Hi, I’m Jennifer, an award-winning disability inclusion advocate, speaker and professional communicator from Atlantic Canada.

As a disabled storyteller, educator and creator, I share my experiences and knowledge through speaking engagements, advising, outreach events and disability inclusion facilitation. My professional background as a communicator and advisor enables me to provide a wide range of services to clients. My focus is disability inclusion advocacy, disabled rights and anti-ableism education.

Join me in the effort to turn the tide against disability discrimination. Together we can become actively anti-ableist, break systemic barriers and make meaningful change for truly inclusive and safe communities where everyone is welcome, valued, respected and safe. We’re all learning and unlearning – and together, we can do better.

I’m Jennifer

Friends call me Jenna, too. I’m an award-winning storyteller, professional communicator and disability inclusion advocate committed to increasing authentic disabled representation in media and community leadership.

With Disabled lived experience through an intersectional lens, I’m committed to anti-ableism education, disability justice, inclusive changemaking and Disabled empowerment.

I write, photograph, blog, create audio and video content, and produce an indie, Disabled-led, feminist podcast: “Finding Avalon: Amplifying Disabled Voices.”

Bringing 25 years of professional expertise and reputation, I work with businesses, academia, all levels of government and community organizations.
